What is so special about Ants Game?

Ants Game is a fun and strategic way to put your NFTs to work. We’ve built a game where your NFTs can earn you rewards as you compete, score points, and climb the leaderboard.
The idea is simple: take the NFTs already in your wallet and use them to join contests. Each contest is hosted by Ants Game, most of the time together with other NFT projects in the MultiversX community.

Your NFTs have traits, and the rarer those traits are, the more points you can earn. Whether you're a collector or a gamer, Ants Game gives your NFTs a new purpose.

RULES

Contest structure

Each contest includes a number of rounds, both the duration of each round (from a few hours to 24 hours) and the total number of rounds are set by the hosting project.

Example 1: 6 rounds x 24hrs = 6 day contest
Example 2: 10 rounds x 12hrs = 5 day contest

Pool Structure & Rewards
Every contest features its own reward pool and leaderboard, with prizes distributed to the top-ranking players.

The hosting NFT project can choose to offer either a single pool or multiple pools. Each pool offers rewards such as tokens, cryptocurrency, NFTs or other custom prizes.

Above Example - Contest with 3 Pools
You own 42 NFTs, which qualifies you to join both Pool 1 and Pool 2. You decide to enter all 42 NFTs into Pool 2.
To participate in both pools you could split your NFTs by placing i.e 9 NFTs in Pool 1 and 33 in Pool 2

Note: Once your NFTs are locked into a pool, they can’t be used in any other pool or by another player

How a Round Works
Trait Matching & Joker

Five traits are drawn at random i.e every 5 minutes along with the Joker. If one of your NFTs include the Joker, it can substitute a missing trait or a whole family (i.e background) to help you score additional points. These NFTs are marked with a white start inside a circle, once selected, the star turns black. If multiple NFTs are eligible, you'll be prompted to choose one. If no selection is made, the system will pick one for you.

Claiming Points

For each series of traits, players can decide whether to claim the points or skip. The potential score for that series is displayed above the claim button. When you claim, the series automatically refreshes to a new set of traits.
Each round lasts up to 24 hours.

In Round 1 all players can claim points up to 14 times - from Round 2 and onward your claim limit is determined by your ranking at the end of the previous round.

Note: Players aiming for higher ranks will need to be more strategic having fewer claims

Key Refreshes
At the start of each contest, players receive a limited number of Key Refreshes. If the players wish to change the trait series they can use a Key Refresh to manually refresh before the specific series ends.
When a player runs out of refreshes, he must wait for countdown to run out, or another player to refresh. Claiming a series automatically refreshes the trait series.

Types of Refreshes

  • 1. Game/Bonus Refreshes
    Earned or given at the start. Only valid in the current contest. Expire if unused

  • 2. Project Token Refreshes
    Bought with project tokens. Usable only in that project’s contests. Do not expire

  • 3. EGLD Refreshes
    Bought with EGLD. Usable in all contests. Do not expire

Random Bonuses

Every claim you make gives you a chance to win a random bonus, such as:

  • Extra points

  • Additional claims

  • Extra Key Refreshes

  • Option Levels boosts

Note: All bonuses are valid only during the current contest and reset after it ends.

Join a Pool - Add NFTs
Each pool require a minimum number of NFts to join. Click +ADD NFT to select the NFTs you wish to enter into the pool. Once selected, these NFTs are locked for the entire contest and cannot be used in other pools or by other players.
